Therapy for high-achieving adults trying to balance it all.

IN-PERSON IN HOUSTON / VIRTUAL TO TEXAS RESIDENTS

Life can look full and still feel empty. It can look calm and still feel overwhelming. Whatever you're holding beneath the surface, you deserve a space to finally set it down.

As we grow up, we learn to adapt to our environment. We’re resilient and find ways to cope, survive, and even thrive (on the outside at least). But sometimes, we notice that not all coping mechanisms serve us anymore. We might experience ruminating thoughts, internal discord, tension in our bodies, or a sense of exhaustion. What motivates me as a therapist is seeing clients take that courageous step forward to reach out and talk to someone. Together, we can untangle your story and help you find your power, deepen your self-trust, and feel more confident and free in the present.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to explore how you show up in relationships, receive feedback from other others, and discover that you are far from alone in what you carry. Often, the group itself becomes one of the most powerful agents of change.

  • Group therapy is built on a simple but profound truth: we heal in relationship with others. The patterns, habits, and ways of relating we carry into adulthood were first learned in our original group: our family. Some of those early lessons served us then. But many of us arrive in adulthood sensing that something isn't working anymore and that there may be a better way of showing up for ourselves and others. A therapy group organically recreates some of those early dynamics, giving you a rare and powerful opportunity to slow down, notice your patterns in real time, and practice a new way of being. That corrective experience can accelerate your growth and healing in ways that individual therapy alone simply cannot.

  • Maybe you learned early on to people-please, to shrink yourself, to put everyone else's needs before your own. Maybe conflict feels impossible to navigate, or taking up space feels selfish or unsafe. Group therapy gives you a live, supported environment to notice these patterns as they emerge and to practice something different. The confidence you build in the room becomes the courage you take out into the world, into your relationships, your workplace, and your everyday life.

  • Perhaps the most quietly powerful part of group therapy is this: the moment you realize that everyone in the room is carrying something. A hurt. A story. A behavior that has been trying to protect them for years. When the first brave person opens up, something shifts, it gives everyone else permission to do the same. In witnessing each other's pain and growth, we begin to see ourselves more clearly. That sense of shared humanity and of being connected to something bigger than your own struggle is not just comforting, it is genuinely healing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer in-person sessions in Houston, Texas. I also offer virtual sessions to anyone living in Texas.

  • My fee for a 50-minute session is $215. I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill. You can submit your superbills to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. You may also use HSA/FSA funds to pay for therapy sessions.

  • I recommend weekly sessions to start. This allows us to build momentum, deepen the therapeutic relationship, and lay a strong foundation. Consistency is an important part of this work and can create meaningful progress toward your goals.  As you start to notice changes and feel ready, we can collaborate on continuing weekly or shifting the frequency of our sessions.

As for the overall length of our work together, that varies from person to person. Some clients come with a specific concern and will terminate as they find relief (or shift to therapy “as needed”) while others choose to stay longer for deeper, more transformative work. We'll regularly check in on your progress and goals so that our work always feels purposeful and aligned with what you need.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your therapy appointment, I ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice. If you cancel less than 24 hours of our appointment time, you’ll be charged the full session fee. You can cancel an appointment by sending me a text or email.
